I have a small test network and I'm trying to install squid proxy 2.4 on Linux 7.1
I don't have any DNS serevr running and I plan to resolv it through hosts file. But the squid doesn;t come up with the error DNS lookup failed. Is it necessary to have DNS running or there is some way to bypass it.Any suggestions!
