SuSE Linux 9.0 Prof - Issue

Hello !

I have installed SuSE 9.0 prof on Intel E7501 (MSI 9138-070 ) HDD's are connected to Intel SRCU42X RAID Controller .
The problem is before installing OS I am able to go to Raid configuration utility by Ctrl + G option but after O.S. installation it does't show ctrl+G option .
Second problem is while shuting down Server it gets hang sometimes and doesn't switch off the server automatically.

kindly suggest how to rectify this problem

Hi,At boot prompt (grub), try "failsafe" boot. If it works, then edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and at the end of each line starting with the keyword "kernel", add :acpi=off Good luck.Kodjo
