swap

Hi all,


on my machine machine swap area is not getting used, when i do gdb it exits saying no virtual memory available.

any help

You might want to check if swap is on

swapon
swapoff

I'm assuming you set it up when you built the box.

Could you post the gdb command you used so I can use it and the actual results?
