Synchronize of LDAP and windows AD password

We are running LDAP in our linux system , all linux are sharing the password in the linux server ( ldap server ) , now if I want to join it to windows AD so that the linux user password is the same as the one in windows AD , is it possible to make the password of linux ldap and windows AD are synchronized ? thx.

Re: Synchronize of LDAP and windows AD password

With Red Hat Directory server you can synchronize your passwords (theorically).

But if you will use the AD passwords, is there any reason to keep the LDAP server on the Linux box? Maybe would be better if you use only the AD password to authenticate Linux users and services using SAMBA as member server and winbind.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
