synparanoia - process

our system stucks sometimes ...
thats why I am looking to the processlist (attached).
what I dont know, is the synparanoia ...
could someone help me?

It doesn't seem to be a known process...

You know its path from your processlist, could you post the synparanoia.pl program source here, undoubtedly someone will understand what it does...

Also, maybe could you tune your Apache process children and threads, if your system stucks...
