tcp_slot_table_entries on RED HAT 6.3+, dynamically tuned?

My understanding is that this parameter is set to "2" by default, which means dynamically tuned as needed. I have NFS over NetApp array, and experiencing NFS performmance issues.

 

Do you guys have any experiences on what value should this parameter be set to in NFS? Is it the best practice to set to  the fixed value of 128, even though by default it is dynamically tuned?
