troubles by configuration EML 103e using RHL AS. Rel. 3.0
We have an EML 103e Tape Library fibre attached (via SAN-switch) to DL580 running Red Hat Linux AS Rel.3.0
How can I get the Tape Library to be recognised by the OS?
When running omniback tool "devbra -dev" Tape Library Box seems to be the connected.
But the correspending tape special files cant be set up at the OS.
Ridvan
# devbra -dev
Exch HP:EML E-Series Path: "/dev/sg3"
SN: "GB80546PDN"
Description: Control device
Revision: 1022 Flags: 0x0002
Slots: 98 Drives: 2
Drive(s) SN:
"HU10538CFK"
"HU10538CFU"

Shalom Rivdan,
You need drivers from the tape maker for the specific OS you are running. If you have that, check the installation log.
