Re: TS CLIENT

I think this is a limitation of the rdesktop client (speaking about version 1.2.0). There are no options that let to specify a different color mode.

Try looking for a new version. http://rpmfind.net.

Re: TS CLIENT

Adding to Claudio's tip, upon upgrading check that you are using on win 2k latest remote display protocol, say 5.1 as 5.0 only support external 8 bits...

Try then to launch rdesktop passing the -D 16, to use 16 bits...

Re: TS CLIENT

hello

i read that TSclients supports only 8 bit colors but in Windows Server 2003 tsclients support upto 24bits color depth. It works with Windows PCs but I'm unable to get 16 bit on my Linux box & 1.2.0 is the latest version of Rdesktop.
So what should i do.

Thanks in advance

Re: TS CLIENT

Well,

if 16 bits depth is a due in your configuration, you have no choice but upgrade to 2003... or access your server from a windows station, which works differently as far as RDP is concerned...
