Hi. I planning to upgrade bind 9.2 to 9.3.2 in a serviceguard environment. In a 2 nodes cluster, is it possible to have 1 node on bind 9.2 and 1 node on 9.3.2.
Thanks alot for your help.

Solution
Shalom,
You are using BIND in SG a cluster?
BIND/named has its own master slave clustering configuration built in.
Anyway. Update BIND no the passive node. Move the package to passive node. update bind on what was the active node.
Done
Make sure its running after restart.
Yes its possible to run BIND with different versions on each node.

Re: Upgrade to Bind 9.3.2 in Serviceguard
Thanks for your advice.
But if there are 2 clusters of servers (A & B). If cluster A is on bind 9.2 and cluster B is on bind 9.3.2, can it still work with each other?
Thanks~
