I've got a freshly installed Version Control Repository on WINDOWS that is not seeing the 7.9 release of the LINUX PSP (I have RHEL 4 and 5 servers)
It only sees the two latter releases.
I have 7.9 installed, so of course there is now a conflict when I attempt to configure VCS on the hosts...
???
TIA
Don

						Shalom Don,
PSP is not delivered by rpm. Parts of it are rpm, and part are just untarred. Depending on how your version control system works it may not see psp as a unit, but as it component parts.

Thanks Steven - I wondered about that. I had noted that another PSP that I had unpacked in a directory was "discovered" by VCS.
I've never really "dug" into a PSP by unzipping it on a Windows machine - any idea if doing so causes issues with sym links or perms?
I suppose it's worth a shot (in the Windoze VC server) just to see what happens. Still, I find it odd that the server is somehow "aware" of the 2 older releases.
This is the first instance where I've had a request to implement VCS on Linux machines, I suppose a bit more investigation (as in RTFM) may offer some help, but I've a feeling it's not likely to be a "feature rich" as its Microsoft counterpart...
