Does anyone know what the "b" Column means under procs ??
Whatever is causing this to go up on our server is causing us performance problems, when it goes back down we return to normal..

You have massive Wait on IOs -- that is why.
Please also post:

sar 5 5
sar -d 5 5
If you have sysstats (sa1) collecting sar data, you will have historicals

Thanks for your response....
We were seeing the I/O issue, after several hours we were able to get EMC to look into the frame and they found an issue there that they put a patch on that resolved the problem...
