vt6200 keyboard hang on debian woody install
Hi,
When I try and install Debian Woody on an HP 6200vt laptop the install program hangs on the language selection screen. I have tried searching list archives, and various switches (idebus=66) to troubleshoot this but am getting nowhere.
Has anybody experienced this before?
Regards
Gordon Grant

Re: vt6200 keyboard hang on debian woody install
Hello,
I'm using a SuSE 8.1 and at install it freezed past the first screen. Finally I used the "safe" settings and it worked :
apm=off acpi=off noapic
Good luck.
