What command will tell me details about tape drive?

I need to know what capacity DAT tape drive is installed in our Linux server. How can I find this info from the server itself?

lpsci will often provide enough details such as the existance of the device and its model number. Most devices don't report their capacity to the OS so usually I used a system utility plus documentation to figure out its capacity. Part of what keeps my job interesting.
