What is libisamstub.1 and where is the documentation for it?

I am looking for what, when, where and how to use this particular library 'libisamstub'. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing it's a library of "stubs" allowing you to link to ISAM routines in another language.

In what context are you finding the need to use it? Maybe that will help.
