What is the latest patch for ServiceGuard A.11.16 (on Suse 9 SP3)

Hi all,

I am preparing to install ServiceGuard A.11.16 on Suse 9 SP3(x86_64).

We had to get this older version because the latest is not suported on Suse 9 and the customer hasn't migrated yet to Suse 10...

I need to get the latest cumulative patch for this version. Where can I download it from?

Serviceguard Linus is on 11.18 at this time.

Go to http://itrc.hp.com.

Select "patch database" from the "maintenance and support (hp products)" group.

Then select "Linux" from the "find individual patches" group.

Set the vendor field to "suse" and the release to whatever you'll need. Set the "How would you like to search?" field to "browse patch list". Then click "Search".

Ignore all the OpenView patches: you'll want the patches with "SGLX_" in the beginning of their names.

Read the patch notes before installing, especially the "Installation instructions" and "Special installation instructions" chapters (at the end of the patch notes). They often contain important information.

you need SGLX_00116, and also SGLX_00044 ( the COM patch)
