SolutionHi @mwlaursen ,
CentOS can be installed on servers which support RHEL but if it is the choice you make then please be aware that there is no official support for it if something goes wrong.
Please check the HPE Servers Support & Certification Matrices for more details.
Also check Community Enterprise Linux (CEL) Distributions .
If you choose to go with CentOS 7/ CentOS 6, please check https://techlibrary.hpe.com/uk/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/exceptions/cent_exceptions.aspx .
Hope this information has helped you, Please click on the "Thumbs Up/Kudo" icon as a token of appreciation. Also, if this post has helped to solve your issue, consider marking this as an "Accepted Solution".
Regards,
Supreeth.

Re: What server will run Cenos 9?
Hi mwlaursen,
CentOS is a RedHat alliance operating system. The server which supports RHEL 9 OS, will also support CentOS 9 version.
Most of the Gen10, Gen10 plus and Gen 11 servers are supported by RHEL 9 version. Please refer this link to get the support matrix of RedHat on HPE Products.
