Re: Where can I find Dbshut Log? and how can i delete it?
As far as I know the dbshut command produces no logs.
Usually the dbshut command is executed by the oracle user; maybe you can watch the system logs to find who logged in as oracle user immediately before the database shutdown.

Hi there.
Find outfrom which terminal oracle has been logged in( btmp / wtmp /utmp ). Then check the alertlog file of oracle for the time. In the sulog you can see, whether oracle has been logged in with 'su '.

Silly question,
If you want to find out how did it, why would you want to delete the log file?
Don't you need proof?
