why I quite often lost my desktop configurations

Hi there,

I am using hpux 11.11 on a c3000. the problem I quite often encountered is that when I login I lost all the settings of the desktop, for example, the backdrops, the color scheme, etc.; it looks like it's my first time login as a "brand new" user. Anything wrong?
Thanks in advance

Click on the icon with a mouse and a paint pallette on the bottom of your screen. The style manager icons should appear. Select startup. Click on set home session. Click ok to replace your existing home session.

Re: why I quite often lost my desktop configurations

Hi,

Try setting a default home session.

right click your mouse in cde, select tools, desktop controls, window style manager, startup.

set return to home session
set home session > ok.
