window client login problem when Samba work as a PDC

I have joined window 2000 professional and reboot pc.After reboot it asked username and password when I select domain and enter username (root) and password (samba root) it show me this error.

The system cannot log you on to this domain because the systemâ s computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorre

Hopefully you don't use word to edit that config file.

Does the user id exist on the samba pdc.

vipw /etc/passwd

find it.

Check /var/log/messages on the pdc
