X-Config fails on Kajak XA

We have Kajak XA with HP 75 Monitors and Hp Wheel Mouse (/dev/imps2). X refuses to work properly, meaning wrong colors displayed.
Anybody ever encountered this ?
do what you can. don't if you can't.

Re: X-Config fails on Kajak XA

Dan,

I am unaware of the specifics, but there is some issue with the Kajak XA and X. It appears to have something to do with the amount of video memory; in the case of the XA if I recall correctly there is 1MB of video RAM avaiable.

Depending on the version of LINUX being used it will work; for example version 7.2 of Red Hat will support running X on the Kajak XA.

Hope this is helpful...
