Do you happen to know a free x server software for windows ?
I tried using "x-deep" but it has a bug that causes it to stop typing text after a while...
Until now I user excursion, but it is not a freeware.
Thank you,
Oved

Solutionhttp://www.cygwin.com/
The most recent releases come with the XOrg X-Server (as against XFree86).
It's capable of doing full-screen and root windows (and I believe also root-less windows).

Re: x server
It works well, but not as well as hummingbird. There is value added for the $500 license for hummingbird.
Something to consider: X Windows client that does not use ssh(openssh secure shell) for connectivity transmits authentication in clear text.

Re: x server
Most major current linux distributions come with 1 or 2 packages for vnc. Pick them from your distro and install them for a workable configuration.
