CP1525n on SBS2008, splwow64.exe error
Hi All,
I have a CP1525n shared from an ML350G6 running SBS2008. I'm finding a number of users are having occasional problems printing from Office 2010 32-bit on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. When they print an error appears on the screen stating the following:
'Printer driver host for 32-bit applications has stopped working.'
The error contains more information, including:
Problem event name: APPCRASH
Application Name: splwow64.exe
The server is running the latest printer driver which includes support for Windows 7 64-bit.
I have installed the printer locally using Standard TCP/IP port on a few computers using the HP Windows 7 64-bit driver, but they're experiencing the same problem.
Having carried out a few hours of research I cannot find a solution to the problem. I've considered installing Office 2010 64-but edition but don't really want to go down this road because some of the software we run requires 32-bit Excel.
Any help to resolve this issue would be really appreciated.
Thank you
Jonathan
