errors installing 2008 srv r2 ?

Hi,

trying to setup a 8000 elite series desktop as a test domain controller using windows srv 2008 r2.

keeping getting an error during install (stop: 0x0000007e).

windows 2008 standard installs fine, but not r2. Any ideas?
