fingerprint login for compaq 6510b

I do not know how to setup the fingerprint scanner for my compaq 6510b notebook. I have checked the device manager and the device seems to functioning properly. I might need a program?

Your question was submitted under ISEE and security however this is not the correct place to get your answer. I'm not sure where to direct you but you need to redirect to a more logical path.
