HP OfficeJet T45 with Dell / XP

I have been on the phone with Dell and XP for 3 days and have been given the run around from both places. Printer still cannot be found. Does anyone have any other ideas other than taking a hammer to both products.

Do you have the XP qualified HP driver for the T45?

It may take another 3 days to download if you are on a dialup as the fool thing is 22 M. You can order a CD but it costs something.

Even if you already have the driver, it wouldn't hurt to read the page as it gives some other setup information.

This appears to be a serial printer connection. Make sure you have the newstyle IEEE-1284 printer cable.
