Installing server 2016 on dl360p geb8

I have an old HP DL360p Gen8 that I am trying to install Server 2016 Std on. It has a P420i controller. I've created a single logical drive and set it as the primary boot volume in Storage Admin
 
I have an OEM install disc. When I boot to it I get the error that "windows could not install one or more critical boot drivers"
 
When I try to install via intelligent provisioning v1.74 I get an error that no valid media is found in the drive, though it does see the disc in there.
I've also tried to install the eval copy off of USB, but get the same error. Bios is P71
I've tried to access ilo4 via web, but get handshake errors.

Wondering what I'm missing.

Hello, 

Please try to reset BIOS and check.

Steps:
Reboot the server
Go to System Utilities by pressing F9
System default options
Restore Settings and reboot the server.


You can also try to use iLO virtual media to mount the iso image and try.

If you are trying to install it Manually using one time boot menu, you may have to provide the required controller driver at the time of installation.

Extract the driver and provide the .inf file at the time of installation.
Click on Load driver and point to the location of the .inf file. 
You may use a USB key for the driver upload.

Thank you. Doing a BIOS reset fixed it. Install progressing.
