large file server with windows server 2008 ??

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone was using large file servers (25TB +) with windows server 2008 or 2K8 R2 with any sucess?
I myself am a bit cautios to allow windows to deal with this size of volumes. Curious to see what comunity think.

Personally I think having that much data on one server is a bad practice. If the storage is configured correctly I'm sure Windows 2008 Enterprise 64bit or Windows 2008 Enterprise R2 (which is only 64bit). Have you considered distributing data across a couple fileservers and use DFS? I certainly would not want all my eggs in one basket.

i have been looking at a number of options. I am the same as yourself. I am not comfortable about presenting that much storage to one server. I have been looking at a few linux filesystems as well
