						>>I have been unable to log onto my server
What kind?
What happens when you try to log in? Any errors?
>>my computer did an update and shutdown
What did it update?
>>and the hp shutdown
This sounds redundant!
>>I have rebooted 4 times with no results.
What actually happens? What shows on the screen?
What's the actual OS that is running?
You say "microsoft hp server" but that's not very descriptive. If this is running an MS OS, I'm not sure you are going to get much help in the HP-UX forum! This should probably be posted in the Microsoft forum.

						Hi,
I think you have HP hardware (desktop or laptop ) with Microsoft OS right ?
As Patrick Wallek saied that this a HP forum you can't get more help from here.
If you are talking about MS OS then try to reboot your desktop or laptop with the OS Recovery CD or DVD and fix.
