Presario s4490uk
Ok...I brought this computer recently and i reformatted to setup windows xp pro.
well i lost my audio driver..
now i have no clue what to do :S please help me i need sound :'(

You need to identify the motherboard that is in your box. HP has no info on their website. www.belarc.com and download the belarc advisor. See if it can tell what your motherboard is.
Once you have that we can probably find what audio chip is used and get a driver for it.
I don't suppose you still have the recovery disks do you? It is possible to tell XP you have some new equipment and point it at the CD and it can usually find the driver it needs on the CD tho you may have to help it by browsing to different folders.
