Printer Timeout Errors

I have a windows 95 client sharing a HP Laserjet 4L printer. When printing from
either over the network or even from the pc hosting the printer I get a message
saying "a printer timeout error has occured" I have adjusted the printer
timeouts and still no luck.

Any ideas?

I would review the protocol that is being used by the workstation and what is
enabled on the printer. The Pc may be trying to print using DLC and the printer
has TPC/IP enable not DLC etc...
