Windows 98 and Hp Laserjet 4000 PS

I have installed Windows 98 on my computer and when i try to see the properties
of Laserjet 4000 Postscript driver i have various type of errors (from
msgsrv32, rundll32, spool32). Obiouvsly, the printer does not print correctly.
Can someone help me?

Hi, did you use the W98 drivers or are you stll using the W95 drivers? Try
removing the printer or update the drivers.

Hi Lessi,

You might have a corrupt printer driver there. Try removing the driver and
download the latest driver off of the HP Web site @
www.hp.com/cposupport/prodhome/lj4000.html

I have uninstalled and upgraded all drivers for the HP 4000 and am still
getting the spool32 error. It began after and infection of Happy99 was removed
and the latest virus definitions downloaded from Symantec. I would appreciate
any suggestions to remedy the problem.
