SAN zoning of Hyper-V guest
Hi,exports.
To show a storage to the windows server Hyper-V guest via SAN(using WWN zoning),then the zone(including Hyper-V FC Port WWN and Host FC Port WWN in the same zone) needed?
When I made the RMC(Hyper-V guest), and show it a StoreOnce Catalyst Store(Storage) via SAN(using WWN zoning), it causes the blue scleen after host OS shuttdown.
But add the zone(member is "RMC FC Port; Host FC Port") , blue scleen didnt cause.
Is it the product specification(of Hyper-V or RMC)?
Regards,

Re: SAN zoning of Hyper-V guest
Thank you for your reply.
In the below page, there is a sentence "Note that you must place FC Tape, Hyper-v Host(s), Virtual Machine and FC SAN in the same zone otherwise it will not work."
Do you know the reason that why need to place Hyper-v Host(s) in the same zone?
Or is there any Official document of MS or HPE or brocade?
