Sending email from HPE Power Protector on Windows 10
I am using HPE Power Protector on Windows 10 with an HP T1500 G3 UPS, Chrome browser, Product version 2.02 build 087
Action Notification to systray works fine. Have been struggling with Action Email. Have tried various options, various servers, smtp with logon, smtp servers without logon but cannot get it to work. Did not find Help useful as it did not describe anything about server options. I have gone through the config script, read about Ports and encryption options but don't know how to get this into the client. I can use either google's smtp server or a fastmail.com server which requires an app password.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Re: Sending email from HPE Power Protector on Windows 10
Hi,
Public SMTP servers connot be used to configure email notifications as HPE Power Protector cannot validate the public SMTP servers. you need to use the internal SMTP server and then you can forward the notifications to public domain using mail relay.

Hi @Kashyap02 ,
Thank you for your answer. One question though: What do you mean by the internal SMTP server?
