Server 2008 on a HP Proliant DL100 G2?
We have a HP Proliant DL100 G2 (part # 397587-B21) that originally came with Server 2003 Storage edition on it. We are trying to install server 2008 on it, but are getting Blue Screen with the message:
"Hardware Failure, Contact your hardware vendor, system has halted."
This message comes up about 10min after the server boots and we login. We did not have any problems with the hardware while running server 2003. I've run the insight offline diag utility from CD. I ran a complete test 100 times in a row and everything checks out. No hardware errors found.
I've updated all the firmware on the device after reloading server 2003 from the restore media that originally came with the server.
Anyone know if server 2008 is supported on this server? We're using it as a distribution point for SCCM and there are some features we'd like to take advantage of with SCCM / Server 2008 that Server 2003 does not offer.
Thanks all.

Not listed as supported :/
Not in the quickspecs for the server either

and that quickspecs seems to be updated in jan 2008.
