USB SUV Connector1 Port Not Detected on BL460c Gen10 Windows Server 2019
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing an issue with the USB port of the C-Class Blade SUV Connector1 on an HPE BL460c Gen10 running Windows Server 2019 Standard.
The USB port is not detected by the operating system, which prevents:
accessing the console via USB,
using the RNDIS functionality (USB virtual network connection).
I have confirmed that the recommended BIOS settings are enabled:
USB Controller: Enabled
USB Legacy Support: Enabled
USB Keyboard / Mouse Support: Enabled
Additionally, the server does not have Internet access, which complicates automatic driver installation or updates. Despite this, the USB device does not appear in the Device Manager, preventing certain operations such as Windows activation or out-of-band management via iLO/SUV.
Do you have any suggestions or solutions to get the USB port properly detected on this model under Windows Server 2019 without Internet access?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: USB SUV Connector1 Port Not Detected on BL460c Gen10 Windows Server 2019
Hello @bliloux,
Install the HPE USB Drivers Manually/Offline; the USB functionality on the SUV connector may depend on the iLO USB Redirection or Virtual NIC drivers, which are not included by default in Windows Server 2019.
You’ll need to manually download these on another machine and transfer them via a USB stick or ISO mount:
HPE ProLiant iLO 5 Channel Interface Driver for Windows
HPE iLO Management Engine Driver for Windows
HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP): download the full ISO and mount it on the server. It includes all required drivers.
Regards
