Just a quick update, the files we have analysed, when we try to use then within the ACS (i.e. copy to the destination of the library) ACS says they are pre V2 Ada and not compatible with Ada 3.5, so this *may* be a red herring. Still working with your suggestions...

I'm closing the thread after assigning points. While some of the tips and tricks I knew about, I've pointed based on their usefulness overall. Its not an easy environment to work in due to some operational practices. I think those files I named are not used by the present compilations, they create - then delete - "new" files, and the old ones are left over from an older installation.
