Advanced Server
I have a server OpenVms 7.2-2 with Advanced Server 7.3-A4 (PDC) --- this is Domain A.
I have 5 DC Windows 2003 R2 Sp1 and 2 cluster OpenVms 7.3-1 with Advanced Server 7.3-A4 (member) ---- this is Domain B.
I need to trust Domain A with Domain B.
IT HP (Barabara Marchetti) write me to modify security policy on all DCs and installed an RPC patch for Advanced Server (AS73AE4PATCHES.AXP). I download the patch from link by IT HP, but it is not valid patch.
I think the problem is format of the patch.
Where i found this patch???
Barbara is out of office and i need this patch for test trust.
Thank you!!!

Re: Advanced Server
first of all, welcome to the ITRC OpenVMS Forum.
You can find patches on http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/familyhome.do?familyId=288
On the bottom of this page on the right side you will find 'download OpenVMS patches here'
There you enter:
Step 1: alpha 7.3-1
Step 2: browse patch list
Step 3: all words
Step 4: all
You will find the required patch 'Advanced Server V7.3A-ECO4 for OpenVMS, with support for OpenVMS V8.2 Alpha'
It's patch number 6 from bottom to top.
Hope that helps

Re: Advanced Server
At least you know now where you can find the patches.
That patch 'Advanced Server V7.3A-ECO4 for OpenVMS, with support for OpenVMS V8.2 Alpha' is found in the patch list of OpenVMS 7.3-1. So I guess that is the patch you need

Re: Advanced Server
The file AS73AE4PATCHES.AXP is a compressed saveset; to create the uncompressed saveset, run it:
$ run as73ae4patches.axp
When prompted for the destination filename, just press Enter.
The just use BACKUP to restore the files from the saveset to any work directory and then follow the instructions in $$readme.txt
The patches are not available on the ITRC...
