Anomaly introduced by vms731_tdf-v0200/v0300
Hello all,
Please take a look at your sys$startup:tdf$utc_startup.com after applying the vms731_tdf-v0200/v0300 patch and if you have dtss disabled by the logical net$disable_dtss. After STD/DST changing or changing time-zone, the tdf$utc_startup is changed and checks for the presence of the logical net$disable_dtss. If the logical exists, the procedure exits and doesn't set the timezone_rule logical, needed by jobcontrol for automatic time changing...
Of course the work-around is to edit the file by hand...

I think this is fixed in VMS731_TDF-V0400
(latest kit is VMS731_TDF-V0500)

There's a discussion of this in the Summer 2004 Service Newsletter. Look in the OpenVMS corner...
