Jan,
Merijn statistics report the people near new hat. It very simple.
I'm asking to him some statistics because I'm convinced vms forum has become the most important after unix (even more posts than microsoft area).
Remember vms is younger forum in HP :-) and vms area has many fellows no USA (you can see this at top right corner and bottom left corner).
This does mean vms knoledge is more worldwide than other operating system?

You're not giving PC its well-deserved credits (am _I_ really saying/writing that?)
If you want to play FormulaOne, Carmageddon, Red Alert, or even Minesweeper or Solitaire, any PC beats any VMS system any time!

Now, if you are mad enough to want to do real work, yeah, for that obviously remote case (to most), THEN I have to agree with you! :-) :-) :-)


PS. I just read an evaluation of WXP SP2.
Seems it often shuts down FTP because that is considered a security hole. :-) :-)

IMHO that must be an understatement: _any_ M$
software is a collection of holes:
- security hole
- manpower inverstment hole
- money invertment hole
- user satifaction hole
