DASC status and location

Can anyone tell me if Digital Automatic Site Configurator still exists and how to get it?

What is the latest version of VMS it can handle? I'm running on V7.3-2 with SAN devices.

Or do you known a 'better' tool with a very low price?

Sorry, no info about DASC (I've last seen it when looking into systems for Y2k).

I don't know about DASC , but I am using RCM to collect data. Typical information which RCM can give is:

DASC belonged to Field Service and I think is probably long defunct. RCM can be found on the system tools CD that came with the VMS V7.3-2 kit or
