Data Collector Screen takes a long time to appear.

Hi,

I have setup NNM7.51 on W2K and it is polling about 250 nodes. All are managed as of now. I have setup some data collectors. The data collector screen is taking more than 5 minutes to appear. Any clue as to why this is happening ? Only system error I am getting on my NNM server is that my DNS is slower than expected.

Upul,

this is the OpenVMS forum dealing with OpenVMS.

Perhaps your problem is related to your DNS problem. If your software tries to resolve some 250 names and encounters many timeouts...
