EVA3000: Active Vdisk not seen into the presented host
hello,
am currently having problem seeing the presented vdisk physically into our servers. it used to be a local drive into my server, but for unknown reason that drive was lost. am attaching a screenshot of the presentations i've made but, as said, this is not viewable nor accessible into the physical server that these hosts represents.
any assistance is highly appreciated.
thank you,
rye

Re: EVA3000: Active Vdisk not seen into the presented host
Hi,
After creating the VDISK, did you execute the MC SYSMAN IO AUTO on VMS server? This command automatically identifies and configures all hardware devices attached to a system by connecting devices and loading their drivers. Does VMS server and EVA are in same zone? You can view the EVA from the SDA command fc show wtid.
Regards,
Ketan
