A VMS/ITRC forum picture will be taken tonite Thursday the 9th after the keynote for all of you VMS Wizards (congrats, Mr Gillings!) who are attending the VMS BootCamp in the Sheraton Tara in Nashua, NH, USA.
Look for the PRSTSC::DTL T-shirt, there should be a camera hanging from one of the (2) shoulders.
:-)

I've been there and looking forward to the picture of most of the OpenVMS ITRC top ten kings and wizards.

Thanks for the photos... and thanks to Jan.
It is good to now be able to put faces to
some names when reading posts.

Look like a buncho of greying old curmudgeons to me... ('specially DTL - although his greying is getting challenged, but other challenges of advancing years...)

I'm not sure if I think this description is good or bad :-)
Lots of grey beards here so I fit right in :-)

Anyway. It's always interesting to find out what face/person is behind all those letters.
You really look like you have enjoyed this event. Have a nice day and get home safe!

Re: Family picture tonite in ZK Tara
curmudgeon = a bad-tempered or surly person.
I saw vms people's photos: they are very interesting. Sorry because I wasn't there but I feel myself a greying curmudgeon too, not old :-)
I saw Martin Zinser: he doesn't post here for some weeks. I hope he doesn't bless linux.

Re: Family picture tonite in ZK Tara

I take this post opportunity to thank all of you that I met there for the first time for your kindness.
Until I write my personal report on this event, what I can say today is that I'm coming back home with the assurance that HP is willing to continue the life of VMS, well at least for the ten next years, which is, for me, enough until I retire... :-)
Have a safe and pleasant trip back, folks.

Re: Family picture tonite in ZK Tara
My coworkers chide me all the time because I wear sandals to work every day. But it`s nice to know that I`m not the only System`s Analyst wearing sandals.
Enjoy,

Re: Family picture tonite in ZK Tara
Sorry that I missed the picture. I was at the Bootcamp, but I missed the latter part of the closing keynote as I was preparing my firm's table in the DSPP Partner Roundhouse.
But, it was good to see the ITRC participants who were at the Bootcamp.

So did I, and Anton, and Hein, and maybe others.
But Didier invited only those ITRC members that are currently in the top ten of the VMS forum, and were present in Nashua.

Re: Family picture tonite in ZK Tara
And here is a picture for me taken at the same day, and pretty much at the same time as the group picture was taken:

No. Jan did the invitation. I just took the picture that I was asked to take.
