Fiber drives not seen

Am running OpenVms 7.3-1 and I am unable to see 2 fiber tape drives. It does see the jukebox ($1$GGA300:) but when I do sysman io auto/log, no drives appear? Must I upgrade to 7.3-2? Other Vms nodes running 7.3-2 do see the drives just fine (as mg devices). Thanks.

Have you tried to power off and replug the cables for your tape drive and then follow it up with SYSMAN IO AUTO ?

Hi,
check WWIDpaths in the sys$system:sys$devices.dat. You can rename this and try MC SYSMAN IO FIND and IO AUTO.

Note that you may have to do
SYSMAN IO FIND_WWID
before SYSMAN AUTOCONF
