Charles,

please note that upgrading the HSG software should not be expected to be a generic solution for 'cluster hangs'.

Maybe you were not chasing a 'cluster hang' due to quorum issues, but due to some other problem ?

I do not think that you have solved the problem. The problem is caused by invalid SAN configuration, but you would see ...

I had changed the VOTE to 1 for every ES40
and EXPECTED_VOTES to 6.

Which side was invalid about SAN configuration?
