how to handle the file located in 7.3-2 CD [.TCPIP_ALPHA054]

Hi,

I found a file called DEC-AXPVMS-TCPIP-V0504-15-1.PCSI$COMPRESSED;1

How can Use it ?

You can just use PRODUCT INSTALL TCPIP (or any other PRODUCT command). It knows how to handle compressed PCSI files.

You can just PRODUCT INSTALL it but only if you have the relevant PCSI patch installed.

Just discovered that myself. Base V7.3-1 system wouldn't install the kit; installed the PCSI kit and in the PCSI$compressed kit went.
