Initing hard drives to obtain maximum use
I am looking for a little advice. We are starting to upgrade disk drives from 9 gig devices to 36 gig devices and would like to take advantage of all the possible disk space as possible by making use of a smaller cluster_size setting then the default. These drives will be accessed directly thou a SAN by any one of the 7 nodes in the cluster.
We currently are running Openvms 7.2-1, utilizing ODS-2. Each drive will have approx 30000 directories and approx 400,000 files.
