just past the mark.
Fittingly, it was on a Python question.
JF, mes felicitations!
I hope to shake hands (and exchange something liquid in a glass) next week in Bruxelles. Please do go SLOW on the French or you may well loose me.
See you next week.
A votre sante.
Buvez un(e) de moi.

Re: JFP graduated
Congratulation on the itrc promotion, and thank you for all teh help ofered here.
More importantly still thank you for all teh help you have offered in supporting and creating products and software to help pull OpenVMS and its users out of the dark ages, into the new world(s0 out there.
Now me, I like the dark ages, adn the old software (like good old RMS), but I just don't want to be stuck there.
Cheers,
Hein.
Cheers,

Perhaps you should tell your boss what a former boss (way back when) told me (us).
Compare your work to a long distance car ride.
Refueling takes time and costs money, but if you don't, the ride will come to an early end.
Events like the TUD are refueling stations!

Re: JFP graduated
My boss is only interrested in letting the car slide until a stop. In fact, the faster the better.
But this week (heavy stock exchange)I got the impression that it was accelerating instead of going slower ...
