How can I set up a new form to show up on the general tab of the properties box of a printer.

I have switched to a new computer and have been given a used L4A400 that I am trying to setup to print my forms.

Thanks for the info but I am not sure where I am to look for the "Help Text"

I did a search on the help in the printer properties but nothing was there.

are you sure to have posted in the right forum? 'General Tab' sounds more like e.g. windows than OpenVMS.

to begin with: Welcome to the VMS forum.

For help, just type HELP.

To set up printer forms, really the first question has to be: What symbiont are you using? If LPD/LPR, then just DEFINE/FORM will be defeated by the lame implementation that LPD provides. It can be circumvented however by using a TELNETSYM relay queue.
Giveus with more information, and we will be able to give more accurate instructions.
