problem in interconnect for the new added cluster member
Hi!
Existing i had 2 Alpha E45 server which connect as cluster. Recently i bought i GS1280 server and want to add in as 3rd cluster member through a Gigabit switch. The process of adding this new member was success but when booting up this new member with genvmunix to rebuilt kernel, it prompt,"insufficient votes, need 2 but got 1". I try to check the connection of the 3 member. the 2 old member can ping to each other but can't ping to switch and the 3rd member. The 3rd member can ping to the switch. Pls help

Re: problem in interconnect for the new added cluster member
Hi,
you should ask this question in a Tru64 group.
All I can say is that you must add a quorum disk to get the expected votes.
